In this Plan With Me, I set up my June 2024 bullet journal, and because it’s my birthday month (I’m turning 26… which is definitely giving quarter life crisis), I went with a cake-themed spread inspired by those cute heart-shaped, colorful icing cakes I’ve been seeing on Pinterest. The setup itself is pretty straightforward and a little less extravagant than some of my older ones, but it turned out so happy-looking that it genuinely makes me want a real cake that matches it. While I’m planning, I also catch you up on my Japan trip—stationery shopping at Loft (eight floors… I feel like Alice in Wonderland in there), eating way too much yakitori, and doing cozy cafe work sessions. I talk a bit about what’s been on my mind heading into 26: focusing on gratitude because aging is a privilege, feeling more sure of myself than I did at 25, and learning to calm down the catastrophizing (even though, yes, the occasional mental breakdown still happens). I also share what I’m excited about lately—leaning into Shop ARL, expanding hobbies like figure skating, and finding more joy that’s just for me.
