Hi friends, this one is a very real “mid-November but we’re doing it anyway” plan-with-me. I originally filmed the intro, blinked, and suddenly it was two weeks later (with new hair) because life has been a lot—mostly in the best way. In this video I set up my late November 2024 bullet journal with a cozy vintage old bookstore theme inspired by that classic New York City fall romcom vibe (brownstones, old buildings, nostalgic energy). I’m painting with gouache, adding little details, and taking you through the setup while we catch up properly. While I plan, I also do a Q&A and share some honest life updates: how the Toronto ShopARL pop-up went (spoiler: you guys lined up down the block and it was so special), thoughts on possibly doing more in-person events (and yes, NYC is on my mind), and where I’m at with my health and mental health. I talk about recovering post-surgery, managing iron deficiency and energy levels, and learning to chase contentment instead of trying to be “happy” 24/7. Plus, I share a little behind-the-scenes of Doodle Planner season—because I’m never really free, and we’re already thinking about 2026.
