In this “On Saturdays, I Sew!” episode from January 31st, I’m at my machine making not one, but two Sport-Luxe-Sacs by Spencer Ogg. This was one of those super satisfying sewing sessions where you get to repeat the same build twice—so the second one goes smoother, you catch little tweaks you want to make, and you end up with a pair of finished bags that feel really intentional. My whole goal with these was to have them ready to take along and share with my friend at Quilt Con 2026, and I’m honestly so excited about that. It’s the kind of make that’s practical (because who doesn’t need a good bag?) but also fun and giftable, especially when you’re sewing with someone specific in mind.
