Hey guys—this is my recruitment 2025 vlog at JMU, and it’s the full behind-the-scenes reality of sorority rush from my side as an active in Alpha Delta Pi. I literally started filming at preference round because I completely underestimated how non-stop recruitment is. Like, I knew it would be crazy, people warned me, and I still thought I’d be fine and able to vlog everything… I was so wrong. It’s chaotic in the best way, but it’s also long days, blisters, a dying voice, and being socially drained by hour ten. I take you through open house (aka the most chaotic and fast-paced), philanthropy round (where I talk about how much Ronald McDonald House means to me and yes, I cried), sisterhood (my favorite round—later start, dresses, and actual connection-building), and then preference + bid day. I also share the little things that make it fun, like getting ready with my friends, taking pics up and down the row, and powering through when your social battery is literally on 1%. My biggest takeaway: it’s intense, but it’s also the kind of experience that makes you feel so grateful for your people—and I was just praying some of my rush crushes would run home to us.
