Happy game day!! In this vlog I’m taking you with me to a JMU football game—from the chaotic “I look kind of insane” getting-ready moment to being in the stands (in the heat) cheering on the Dukes. I start the day at my apartment doing my usual: sunscreen because we’re outside all day, makeup, and of course curling my hair (heat damage can catch up to me later… not today). I also show you my game day outfit: a brand new purple striped matching set with my white cowboy boots, plus my clear bag with the essentials like camera batteries, wallet, and my lip combo. After that, it’s very much a “we’ll figure it out together” kind of day—because at JMU there’s literally always something to do. I head to my bestie Mar’s house for a little pre-game hang, and my main goal is honestly just to see as many friends as possible since everyone’s in different orgs with different tailgates. Then we make our way to the stadium, find our seats (in the sun), and spend the game sweating, celebrating, and living our best college lives. By second quarter, we’re winning (obviously) and I’m already thinking about post-game Chick-fil-A. These are the exact kinds of videos I know I’ll look back on one day to relive college, and I’m so happy I got to bring you along.
