This episode is basically me trying to fit an entire lifetime into one week because… it’s my LAST week in London. Like, devastating news: a week from the start of this vlog I’m literally on a plane back to the US, and I’m not ready mentally, emotionally, or packing-wise. I’m juggling finals week (my first exam was 100 questions and not multiple choice… rude), last little bucket list moments, and that weird end-of-semester feeling where everything starts to look and feel like goodbye. I take you through the chaos of locking in at Starbucks, finishing essays, doing my last theater class and presentation, and then randomly having the most iconic London moment ever: we wake up at 7:30am to get wristbands for a Marvel movie premiere in Leicester Square. We’re standing there with postcards hoping for autographs and spotting the stars, and it’s just such a “study abroad is actually insane” moment. Then it’s banquet day in the classic “I Heart London” shirts, taking pics in Westminster/Parliament Street, and the emotional spiral of watching my flat slowly turn into boxes. I end with the ultimate struggle bus: packing, weighing my suitcase, and heading to the airport with a delayed flight… fully depressed, fully grateful, and yes, I did cry on the way home (and what about it).
