I dug some clay up out of the little river in Zebulon, NC. I wanted to see how it threw, and I was surprised and a little disappointed all at the same time. Throwing wild clay has been on my list of things to do for a long time and I am happy to have done it. I want to go hunting for different clay and see if I find something I really love. I think the clay is lacking in larger clay particles, but I don't really know what to do to this clay to make it better. I want to see how it does in the kiln before I add anything to the clay. Let me know in the comments what you think it needs?
