Godox been launching interesting lighting products and personally this is one of those seemingly underpowered ones. Is it a cheap pointless flash or one of true value? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IEM Measurements: https://zpreviews.com/2024/07/29/measurements/ Contact me for Collab/Reviews: Audio Reviews: https://zpreviews.com Photography Website: https://zpeaktures.squarespace.com/contact Email: zpeaktures@gmail.com Like my content? About This Video

In this video I do a short, real-world review of the Godox IT32, and I’m showing you actual photos I shot with it while we talk. On paper it looks “underpowered,” and yes—if you compare it to something like a Godox V1, you’re looking at roughly 1.2 to 2 stops less light. But if you know what you’re doing and you manage your expectations, the IT32 has more than enough power to do interesting things, especially indoors. Without high-speed sync, I find it’s generally good enough for around f/2.8 to f/4 depending on your modifier. What makes the IT32 exciting isn’t just the output—it’s the feature set for the size, weight, and price. You get TTL, manual, high-speed sync (more realistic as fill than as a key), a relatively bright touchscreen, a modeling lamp, and a really smart magnetic system. The optional magnetic trigger means the flash can be on-camera, then instantly become a wireless controller when you pull the trigger off—and you can control power for your group (like Group A) and fire multiple lights on the same channel. The magnetic gel system is honestly one of my favorite parts: compact, affordable, and actually practical to carry. If you’re trying to overpower the sun with HSS or you’re using huge modifiers, this isn’t the flash for you. But as a lightweight, budget-friendly way to learn flash photography and build a flexible multi-light kit, I think it’s one of the best things Godox has made.
