In this video I’m messing around with a canoe setup that’s equal parts practical and “let’s see if this works”: an Old Town Sarnac 146 with a little 3 hp outboard on the back—specifically a Gamefisher 3.0. The whole point is to see what a small motor like this actually feels like on a canoe, how it pushes, and whether it’s worth the hassle versus just paddling. I’m not trying to turn it into a bass boat—I just want a simple way to get around faster, cover more water, and still keep the canoe vibe.
