"Stillness does for the mind, what movement does for the body" Today's practice is all about learning the art of relaxation and stillness. Yin Yoga focuses on grounded, deep, stretching asanas for an extended amount of time that allows our body to move out of its fight or flight response and into deep opening and awareness. Watch your body melt and your mind relax into the mat as you breathe into blocked energies and areas of your body through Yin Yoga. Yin Yoga is not meant to be physically challenging however some may find the mental component to be their biggest hurdle as most do with Yin and Restorative Yoga. Sit with yourself, honor yourself, and enjoy this rest. If you like class make sure to SUBSCRIBE!
