About This Video

In this video I break down why ND filters are basically non‑negotiable if you want your DJI Osmo Action 6 footage to look cinematic instead of super digital. I’m using the Freewell Gear ND filters, and I show you three ways they can instantly improve your footage—starting with the biggest one: natural-looking motion. Once you understand how the 180° rule works (and how auto mode can totally destroy it by cranking shutter speed), ND filters become the easiest way to keep motion blur looking right while still controlling exposure. I also talk through how these filters actually mount on the Action 6. They pressure-fit onto the standard lens, they grip really well with the rubber cross-hatch interior, and I genuinely don’t worry about them falling off. Then I get into a few “creative” filters Freewell sent me—Glow Mist (for that dreamy highlight bloom), LPR (to clean up city light pollution at night), and a CPL (to cut glare off water, windows, and cars). My main takeaway: if you want professional-looking Action 6 footage, you need control—and ND filters are how you get it.
