In this video I’m walking you through the new release of my NinjaTrader 8 news tool: XABCD News Pro v1.7.0.14. The whole goal with this indicator is simple—keep the economic calendar information right in front of you so you can make cleaner, faster decisions without constantly bouncing between websites and your charts. This update is focused on quality-of-life improvements that make the workflow smoother when you’re filtering what matters and ignoring what doesn’t. The big additions are the new calendar filters and the improvements to how your preferences are handled. You can now filter events by impact priority so you can stay locked in on the releases that actually move your market. I also updated the country and impact filters so they’re saved and automatically recalled the next time you launch the platform—no more re-setting your list every session. And finally, I fine-tuned the “Select All” behavior to be more intuitive, because little UI friction adds up when you’re trying to trade efficiently.
