Happy Thanksgiving, gamers. This is the annual XP Waste Thanksgiving showdown, and for the first time we’re doing it live from Texas because Oxie and I are actually in the same room. This episode is not OSRS news, not Leagues tech, not Sailing cope—this is us doing what we do every year: arguing like it’s a balance patch, but it’s over food. I cooked for like three and a half hours, flexed my “99 Cooking IRL,” and we lined up 14 of the most controversial dishes we’ve ever tiered so we could finally settle it (we didn’t). We also switched up the tiers this year: “absolute best,” “definitely going to eat it,” “I’m only eating this to be polite,” and “straight in the bin.” We start strong with rolls (eternal, absolute best) and turkey (butter-under-the-skin tech, a little dry, but that’s what gravy is for). Then we hit the landmine: deviled eggs. I’m a certified hard-boiled egg hater, Michael’s a deviled egg addict, and somehow I didn’t hate mine as much as I wanted to—which is honestly the worst outcome for my brand. We also talk peas, homemade mashed potatoes (because Michael tried to microwave Bob Evans like a criminal), brown gravy vs white/country gravy, and why the real secret to Thanksgiving is simple: if the gravy is ripping hot, everything else can be cold and you’ll survive.
