Backyard Harvest: What’s in Season? (Feb/March)

What can you actually harvest and eat in early spring? In this first episode of Backyard Harvest: What’s in Season?, I show you what we’re eating right now from our property in late March. Some things are just starting to grow, others have been stored from last season—but even in this low point of the year, there’s still a surprising amount of homegrown food on the table. I’ll take you through what’s in the greenhouse, what’s coming up wild, and what’s left in the freezer. Normally we’d have eggs too, but I’m in the middle of remodeling our chicken setup. Thanks for watching—and if you’ve got food coming in this early too, let me know in the comments.
