I rebuilt my compost system because I do not want my garden depending completely on bagged soil, store-bought amendments, and oil-based fertilizers. In this video I show my 6-bin Geobin compost setup, how I get bins heating fast, how I sift finished compost, and how I use it in my greenhouse and garden beds. This setup is closer to my chickens and rabbits, easier to maintain, and easier to consolidate and aerate as materials break down.
