A lot of chicken problems are self-inflicted, and most of them come from two decisions people make at the very beginning. In this video I’m breaking down the two choices that, in my experience, prevent 70 to 80% of the common issues people run into when keeping chickens. Stop choosing breeds based on looks or egg color and choose a breed that matches your climate. Keep your chickens dry by managing moisture, ventilation, and the run surface.
