A Daiquiri is a classic cocktail based on white rum. This short drink belongs to the large group of sours and was named after the Cuban settlement of Daiquirí, which is about 22 kilometers from Santiago de Cuba. INGREDIENTS 30 ml/ 1 oz. Jamaika overproof Rum 20 ml/ ⅔ oz Green Chartreuse 15 ml/ ½ oz. freshly sqeezed lime juice 10 ml/ ⅓ oz. Falernum METHOD 1. Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake. 2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. 3. Garnish with a lime wedge on rim.
