Top Mezcal Cocktails Best Mezcal Drinks Best Men's Cocktails Epic Women's Drinks How to make the M + M Cocktail STORY The M + M cocktail was created in 2015 by Marco Montefiori of Amaro Montenegro and M + M is short for Monte y Mezcal. The cocktail became popular because this 50/50 mix of Montenegro and Mezcal was served straight and led to the drink being nicknamed Manager's Meeting among bartenders. INGREDIENTS 40 ml / 1 ⅓ oz. Mezcal 40 ml / 1 ⅓ oz. Amaro Montenegro METHOD 1. Fill a mixing glass ⅔ full off ice. 2. Add the ingredients and stir until chilled. 3. Add a big ice cube into chilled old fashioned glass. 4. Strain into the old fashioned glass. 5. Garnish with an orange zest twist.
