Egg Nog is a vintage Christmas libation and George Washington, America's first President famously made his own. So it's time to make your own Egg Nog too. INGREDIENTS 25 ml/ ⅚ oz. Cognac (Brandy) 25 ml/ ⅚ oz. Caribbean Rum 10 ml/ ⅓ oz. sugar syrup 25 ml/ ⅚ oz. milk 1 fresh egg (white & yolk) METHOD 1. Pour all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice cubes. 2. Shake and strain back into shaker. 3. Now dry shake (without ice) and fine strain into ice-filled glass. NOTES Eggnogs are sweet and creamy cocktails that are often mixed with eggs, milk and cream. The drink has its origins in the United States and with this simple recipe you can have a homemade eggnog in your hands to toast in just a few simple steps.
