Top Rum Cocktails Best Rum Drinks Best Men's Cocktails Epic Women's Drinks How to make the Bacardi Cocktail STORY The Bacardí Cocktail was originally the same as the Daiquiri, containing Rum, lime juice and sugar. The Grenadine version of the Bacardí Cocktail originated in the US, while the original non-red Bacardí company recipe originated from Cuba. INGREDIENTS 60 ml/ 2 oz. Bacardi Carta Blanca light rum 15 ml / ½ oz. freshly squeezed lime juice 7,5 ml/ ¼ oz. Grenadine syrup 5 ml/ ⅙ oz. sugar syrup METHOD 1. Pour all ingredients into shaker with ice cubes. 2. Shake well. 3. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass. 4. Garnish with a cherry. NOTES On April 28, 1936, the New York Supreme Court ruled that the drink must contain Bacardí Rum in order to be called a Bacardí cocktail.
