At the beginning of my 2026 Tiny Tuesday series, I mentioned that I’d eventually explain why I chose the somewhat unusual 2.5 × 3.5 inch size for this year’s paintings instead of my usual 3×3 or 2×3. That decision actually came from discovering ACEOs, which stands for: Art Cards, Editions and Originals. These tiny works of art must be 2.5 × 3.5 inches, the same size as trading cards, and they’ve developed a wonderful community. After learning more about ACEOs, I decided to give the format a try myself. In this video I’m sharing my very first series of six original ACEOs; whimsical little anthropomorphic characters, each with their own quirky personality written on the back. If you enjoy collecting tiny original artwork, these are currently listed on eBay. 🔗 See the ACEO listings here: https://www.ebay.com/usr/watercolorkari 🕒Timestamps: 0:00 Introduction 0:58 What are ACEOs? 3:31 Why are they controversial? 🙄 ('Tis not that serious, IMO) 3:59 Where are ACEOs sold? 6:04 My first set of ACEOs! 10:35 Where to Buy 11:57 Final Thoughts These tiny characters were such a joy to paint, and I’m excited to see if any of them find a new home!
