I grabbed a few “new to me” L’Oreal goodies during an Ulta buy one get one half off sale, and in this GRWM I’m putting them on my 50+ skin and giving you a true first impression. I started with my ride-or-die mascara already on (L’Oreal Telescopic Lift Waterproof), because yes… I’m on about my ninth or tenth tube at this point. The brush is more like a comb—curved but kind of flat—so it takes a minute to get used to, but the lashes it gives me are absolutely worth it. Next, I tested the L’Oreal Infallible 24H Fresh Wear Soft Matte Bronzer in 250 Light Fair. I honestly thought I might have to take it back because it swatched so light, but once it hit my face it blended in beautifully. It’s buildable, very natural, and (thank goodness) not orange or fake-looking—plus the clear top and the included mirror felt like an “extra special touch” for drugstore. For eyes, I tried two L’Oreal Le Shadow Sticks (Alluring Rose and Twinkly Rose). “Twinkly Rose” reads more peachy-gold than rose to me, and while the pair is okay together, if I had a time machine I might pick different shades. The sticks are super quick for an everyday look, and if I want more pop, I’ll just tap on a little extra shimmer (hello, inner corner and brow bone).
