Hey everyone, it’s Julie — WYGO Warrior — and in this video I’m unboxing my NewBeauty BeautyPass Free Gift Friday mystery bundle (yes, it’s “free”… but you do pay $12.95 shipping and handling, so call it a $13 surprise). This was the first mystery bag I’ve personally seen from them, and you had to pick a category: hair care, skin care, makeup, or “beauty.” And let me tell you right now… hindsight is 50/50, because I picked “beauty” and I’m kicking myself for not choosing makeup. Inside my bundle I got the LALICIOUS Travel Besties in Sugar Lavender (a mini duo with a sugar scrub and body butter) and a big 125 ml EUFORA/Nourish “Beautifying Serum” that turned out to be an oil complex for hair, skin, and scalp. I’m not into vague product names (what kind of serum?), and “beauty” apparently meant more body/bath than makeup — which just isn’t what gets me excited. But I did end on a high note with a Dollar Tree find: the SPA LUXURY Brazilian Sol Body Butter. It smells shockingly close to Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream, the texture felt really nice, and for $1.25? I had to share it with my fellow 50+ beauty lovers who want the vibe without the price tag.
