But this Ulta haul was actually tiny: I bought four L’Oréal items during a BOGO 50% off deal, and somehow Ulta shipped it in a ginormous box that weighed like nothing. WTF, Ulta? I also had that classic moment where I place an order and then my sweet subscriber Dawn messages me about a 20% off prestige coupon… right after. Story of my life. This haul was all about finally “pulling the trigger” on drugstore releases I’ve been dragging my feet on, especially the L’Oréal Le Shadow Sticks my friend Clara Barrera raved about. I grabbed two shades (Twinkly Rose and Alluring Rose), plus the Infallible 24H Fresh Wear Soft Matte Bronzer in 250 Light Fair. I did a quick swatch and it’s very light, so we’ll see in my try-on if I need a deeper shade for my 50+ skin. I also repurchased my staple L’Oréal Telescopic Lift Waterproof Mascara because when I’m close to needing a new mascara, I don’t play around. And yes, there was a free gift: a makeup bag… that immediately gave me the heeie-jeebies and left glitter all over my shirt. I also picked up Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation samples (two shades to mix), and I’ll be testing everything in a separate swatch/try-on video.
