Welcome to the new year — 2026 has arrived, and I kicked it off with my January Allure Beauty Box unboxing. The box was surprisingly heavy, and yep… there was a reason. I walk you through every item, what it’s for (face, body, or hair — because can you imagine if I put that hair mask on my face?), and I give my honest, paid-with-my-own-money opinion as someone with 50+ skin that’s dry, textured, and still glowing. Inside this month’s box, we got a big Blake Brown hair mask with fancy “wood grain” packaging and a floral scent that was bordering on grandma (but not as bad as it could’ve been). There were Levitate hydrogel under-eye masks (three pairs), a Mitchell & Peach English Leaf body soufflé that I’ll probably use as hand cream because I’m lazy, and an Obagi Hydrate facial moisturizer that I’d call slightly bougie at $65. We also got a Paul Mitchell Super Skinny “serum” (still not sure why hair needs a serum), and the shade-pick item: Tarte Sculpt Tape Contour in Cool Bronze. I already own it (in Light Cool Bronze), so this box was honestly a little “meh” for me — not horrible, I got my money’s worth, just not the most exciting one lately.
