Should you buy a cheap chinese MTB frame?

I have a confession to make - I bought two Chinese-direct mountain bike frames. I'm not sorry. Should you consider buying a cheaper Chinese bike from eBay? Yes, I think it makes sense for some. For beginners it's a gamble, but if you're handy it can work out. One carbon full suspension XC frame and aluminum FS enduro frame later I'm still positive on the price-to-performance ratio.
