Shimano does not want you upgrading your eMTB

Something that should be simple has been made so difficult by Shimano. From adding a new display, to a shifter, to an electronic derailleur to your mountain bike is a giant mess. They will sell you the parts, but they won’t make using them easy at all. With a little determination, and spending more money than you should - it is possible. I just wanted to add Bluetooth capabilities to my EP6 setup and wow was it difficult. Needed new display, new shifter, more wires. It’s just not easy at all.
