Transferred from the original tape reels that were recorded by legendary engineer Bernard Drayton. The CD contains an elaborate 36-page booklet includes liner notes by jazz author and scholar Bob Blumenthal; plus interviews/statements with artists who knew or were inspired by Kenny Dorham such as Eddie Henderson, Charles Tolliver, Jeremy Pelt, Steven Bernstein, Reggie Workman, Dan Morgenstern and others.
