About This Video

I’ve been living out of my Subaru Outback for 4 years, so in this video I give you a full tiny home tour of my no-build SUV setup. My whole goal with this rig has always been simple + clean—something that helps me feel organized and calm inside a small space. Nothing in this video is sponsored, and I’m not trying to make you feel like you need to go buy a bunch of gear. I’m just sharing what’s actually worked for me through a lot of trial and error. I walk you through how I sleep (I ditched bulky mattresses and now sleep on a sheepskin with blankets to keep my headroom), how I use my tailgate as my kitchen/work station, and how I organize everything from recovery gear to clothing bags. I also share why I stopped using a fridge (it ate up space and wasn’t worth it for me), how I handle water storage, window covers, and basic comfort things like rugs and blankets that make the SUV feel like home. And I talk about the real-life questions people stress about—showers, bathrooms, valuables, and safety—plus the mindset shift that helped me the most: asking “what if everything works out?” and trusting my intuition enough to leave immediately if something feels off.
