Long time no see, friends—life has been crazy and I honestly needed some happy, so I did a little shopping. In this video I’m unboxing my first Maggie Holmes mystery box from AmericanCrafts.com. I grabbed three boxes total because they had a buy two get one free deal (I got the Crafter’s Choice and two Maggie Holmes boxes), and I was dying to see if it was actually worth it. I go through everything as I pull it out: cute little brads (Forever Fields), ephemera, those sticker “tubes,” washi, a Maggie Holmes stencil (I don’t own any!), and a 6x8 paper pad from a collection I didn’t have. I’m obsessed with the blue flowers and I love when the packs come with little phrases and sentiments—those are always my weakness. The box also had a thick stack of single sheets (I counted 25), plus project pads with stickers, foiling, and punch-out style pieces. I even got animal-themed bits that made me think of future zoo adventures. Budget-wise, I think it was around $70 and I counted about 44 items, so for me it felt well worth it—especially since I’m trying to get back into crafting as my “me time.” Now I’m super curious if my second box will be different or full of repeats, because if it’s different… I might go back for another.
