We FAILED Winter Van Life In Scotland

We’ve been living in our van full-time and travelling Scotland for the past couple of weeks… and it’s been unreal. We arrived with no snow… then BOOM — Scotland turned into a full winter wonderland. In this episode we push ourselves way out of our comfort zone with a treetop ropes course / zipline adventure in Aviemore, meet up with fellow vanlifers, and let the dogs loose in deep, untouched snow (they absolutely LOVED it 🐾❄️). But it wouldn’t be van life without a few problems… 👀 We deal with a frozen Ford Transit rear door latch that won’t lock in the freezing temperatures, troubleshoot the issue with help from Sean (mechanic / Project Camper), and later hit another classic winter issue — frozen windscreen washers and a quick roadside fix. After the snowy drive back south (including a brutal detour thanks to motorway closures), we also reveal a scary electrical issue: our electric hook-up cable plug literally welded itself (water + electricity = nope 😬). So we’re replacing the ends and getting it all sorted properly.
