After months of problems, wrong parts, and endless frustration, we get help from Adam, a professional mechanic and electrical wizard, to properly diagnose what’s been going on with the van. In this episode, Adam gets stuck into the electrics, tests the rear door lock on and off the van, and discovers that the “correct” VW part we were supplied may not actually be correct for our van at all. While he’s at it, we also tackle some big mechanical jobs, including new lower wishbones, wheel bearings, brake fluid checks, and a wheel alignment. Emma takes the dogs for a wander, we try some new Holy flavours, and then we head off to collect what we hope is the right rear door lock once and for all. Will this finally fix the back doors?
