We were ready to soak up the sights, enjoy the sounds, and let our four pups stretch their legs along the Mediterranean coast. From winding old town streets to vibrant local boutiques, we were excited to explore everything this beautiful Spanish city had to offer. But things took a surprising turn. We began noticing road closures… lots of them. Then came the flashing lights. Police in riot gear. A tension in the air that we couldn’t ignore. What was going on in Alicante?
