And honestly… this island is a vanlife paradise. Even in the wetter months, with muddy park-ups and mist rolling across the water, it’s unbelievably beautiful and unbelievably quiet. Perfect for exploring, waterfall hunting, and Emma’s mission to spot otters (…still waiting! 😂). Before heading into Tobermory, we stumbled across the most stunning hidden waterfall that looked like something straight out of Canada. So naturally, we pulled over, got the dogs absolutely caked in mud, and sent the drone up for some shots… which ended in disaster. Yep. Brand new drone straight into the river. Classic Neil. After cleaning the dogs (and my tears), we finally made it to Tobermory — famous for Balamory, colourful houses, cute shops, local crafts, and of course… cake. Lots of cake.
