All right you guys—at CES I pulled up to the Govee booth and it was basically every gamer and smart home lover’s dream. They’ve been crushing smart lighting for years, and this year they showed off a full-blown home setup with a ton of new gear. I checked out the Floor Lamp 3 (super clean, futuristic base with a triple-light vibe) and the Lantern Floor Lamp that looks like one giant bulb but still hits multiple colors. Then we got into their new ceiling lights—the Ceiling Light Ultra and the Sky Ceiling Light—and the brightness on these is wild. Like at 100% it’s basically the sun, plus the Ultra has 600+ LEDs so it can do these crazy effects and even “digital art” looks like an astronaut floating in space. The big takeaway is Govee’s new LuminBlend Plus. It’s not just marketing—color accuracy is noticeably better, and you get an ultra-wide white temperature range from about 1,000K all the way up to 10,000K, which gives you that deep warm orange on one end and a super cool bright white on the other. Back at the studio I tested it on my desk setup (teal gang, you already know) and the color stays accurate even when you dim it way down. Then I played with AI Lighting Bot 2.0 in our “zen bedroom,” where I could literally talk to it and have it generate themes and effects, and even create AI-generated images on the Curtain Lights Pro. Govee is doing the most—in the best way.
