I’m back from CES and we’ve gotta talk gaming—because I saw a ton of cool stuff (in person and online) that I genuinely can’t wait to get my hands on. I kicked things off with one of the smartest keyboard ideas I’ve seen in a minute: Corsair’s K100 with an Elgato Stream Deck built right into the board. Instead of a number pad, you get a full-on LCD display, 12 LCD keys you can program to do basically anything, plus a couple dials up top. It’s pricey at $350, but if you stream or you’re a heavy PC power user, it can clean up your desk and level up your setup. I also checked out NuPhy, a brand I’ve been using personally, and their keyboards just have that soft, bouncy, super clean aesthetic. The Field 75 HE looked futuristic and loaded with extra controls, and the Kick 75 had a dope retro vibe (with a surprisingly plush wrist rest). On the sponsored side, HyperX and Intel showed me the new HyperX OMEN MAX 16 with next-gen Intel Core Ultra 200HX, up to an RTX 5090, a 2.5K OLED display, and even that self-cleaning cooling fan concept returning. The wildest “experience” product for me was the ZO Pod: a futuristic seat with RGB, haptics, and 24 speakers (9.2.4). It’s also $20,000… but it might’ve been my favorite thing at CES. I also got hyped about O Snap’s MagSafe MCON controllers for turning your phone into a handheld, Lenovo’s rollable Legion concept that expands into an ultrawide, and a GameSir controller with a built-in steering wheel for portable racing.
