In this video I unbox and review the Synido Livemix Duet, a super budget-friendly interface that’s sitting around that $69 price point. I show you what comes in the box (including the included headphones and adapters), walk through the front-panel controls, and talk about what I like—like having two inputs/two outputs, independent gain knobs, and independent 48V phantom power on each channel. I also point out the build: it looks cool, but it does feel lightweight and a little “toy-ish,” so I’d be careful with it. Then I actually test it in a real setup. I hook it up to my iPad and record into GarageBand, running my TLM-103 through my Avalon 737 into the Duet so you can hear the signal quality.
