In this video I’m doing a case swap because my computer build was just way too powerful for the Corsair 4000D. If you’re building a computer and you’re realizing the case you bought is too small for the components that need to go in it, this is exactly what that looks like in real life. I transfer my parts over to the bigger brother—the Corsair 5000D Airflow—and I talk through what I’m seeing as I go, from space, to fan options, to cable routing. My biggest problem with the 4000D was how tight everything felt, especially down by the bottom drive cage. I couldn’t fit my 4TB drive the way I wanted because there wasn’t enough room for the power supply cables, and it turned into a complete headache. With the 5000D, it honestly blew me away how much space you get, plus the back panel design does a really good job hiding cables so the build looks more professional. In the end, everything fits, nothing is cramped, the airflow is easy to see, and I was able to add more fans—so for my studio setup, this was one of the best case upgrades I’ve done.
