In this tutorial I’m showing you how to change track color inside the BandLab app so you can stay a little bit more organized. It’s not hard and it’s not complicated—once you’re in your project and you’ve got tracks recorded (vocals, instruments, whatever), you can start color coding so you instantly know what’s what while you’re working. All you’ve got to do is tap the track you want to change (like a lead vocal), hit the three dots, and pick a color. From there, you can set a system that makes sense for you—like lead vocals red or orange, guitars green, drums blue, background vocals purple, harmonies a different shade, and so on. The whole point is to help you quickly spot your lead vocals vs. backgrounds vs. instruments without getting lost in the session. If you’re trying to move faster in BandLab and keep your projects clean, track colors are a simple tool that really helps.
