Teachers ask me this all the time: “VIPKid or GoGoKid… which one should I apply to?” So in this video I do an honest, not-wishy-washy comparison of the two biggest names in online ESL (as of when I recorded this in Dec. 2020). I walk through the stuff that actually changes your day-to-day teaching life—brand loyalty, the in-class interface and functions, what the students are like (age and ability), and how the overall curriculum feels when you’re the one performing it at 5 a.m. I also talk about regular students, the “spirit” of each brand, and then we hit the tiebreaker round: pay.
