In this video, I’m sharing a farewell tribute to some of my favourite GoGoKid students after hearing the news that the platform was going to suspend all further classes. If you’ve ever taught online and built real relationships with your learners, you’ll understand why this one hits differently. I wanted to take a moment to honour the kids who showed up week after week, made me laugh, challenged me, and reminded me why I loved teaching in the first place. I also talk a bit about the bigger “why” behind what’s happening—China’s new education rules and how they’ve changed the landscape for online ESL teachers. I’m being honest here: I’m still figuring out my next move, and I’ll share more when I’m ready. For now, this video is about gratitude, closure, and taking a breath before the next chapter.
