In this video I’m testing the ODDV ACTION1 4K 60FPS action camera and showing real footage both inside and outdoors. I walk you through the whole setup, the dual-screen design (rear touchscreen plus the front selfie screen), and what you actually get in the box—two batteries, waterproof case, mounts, a skeleton case, and even a little remote. I also point out the basics that matter if you’re using this for DIY projects or weekend trips: there’s no aux mic input, but you do get USB-C, a wide-angle option, 5X zoom, and a bunch of modes like loop video, slow video, time-lapse, burst, and photo filters. I also show the key limitation people need to know: if you want 4K/60, you have to disable EIS stabilization (that’s why it’s greyed out in the menu). Stabilization itself is actually not bad for the price, and I go over how the camera handles exposure changes (like going from shade to blue sky) and how the wide angle compares to my phone. Then I connect it to the SupCam Pro app using the QR code workflow and show how you can control the camera remotely. At the end of the day, I’m honest about the comparison: this doesn’t really compete with GoPro, DJI, or modern smartphone cameras for overall smoothness and quality. To me it’s more like a budget-friendly “spare GoPro” you take on vacation or risky stuff (roller coasters, gliding, adventures) where you don’t want to risk losing an expensive camera.
