What's up, everybody? In this video I’m showing you how to swap out the controller box on a 12V or 24V ride-on kids car and make it Bluetooth friendly. If your remote stopped working out of nowhere, or you lost the remote completely, this is the quick fix: replace the main controller board with a universal Bluetooth-compatible board, plug everything back in, and pair a new remote. I also open the car up so you can actually see what’s inside—battery, fuse, motors, charger—and how all the plug-and-play connections run back to the controller. I walk you through removing the old controller (a couple screws and a few connectors), installing the new one, and then testing the car before you button it back up. For pairing, I do it the simple way: turn the car off, press up and down on the remote at the same time for 3 seconds until it blinks fast, then turn the car on and you’re good. I also talk upgrades while we’re in there—like going from a single-motor 6V setup to dual motors for better traction and speed, and how an 18V drill battery adapter can bypass the stock battery/charger setup (next video I’ll actually do that upgrade).
