This is not a C Wire Installation video, nest thermostat will work without a C wire or Nest Power Connector connected to your HVAC control board. So we replace a 1980s honeywell thermostat with 4 wires, and we do not have a C Wire or BO (heating pump). Also, if you have an Rx wire loop on your old thermostat like we do, during the google configuration wizard DO NOT check , Rx on your setup as you will get not compatible error and it won't let you finish the installation.
