I unbox it, show you the ports (USB-C charging under the silicone flap, SD card slot), the lens protection, and why I like the fact that it’s super light—about 321 grams—so it doesn’t feel like a brick in your hands. Then I walk through real use: powering it on, focusing, switching modes, starting/stopping recording with the OK button, and jumping into playback. I also show the 10X digital zoom (and why you need a steady hand), plus the tripod thread that’s there for a reason when you’re zoomed in far. I go through the menu settings like leaving it at 5K, cranking stills to 60MP, toggling effects (I’d stick to normal), adjusting backlight/exposure for daylight vs darkness, and turning on image stabilization (it helps, but it’ll burn more battery).
