Even though we're nearly a year into the new video game console generation, I thought it would be fun to unbox a retro console that celebrates one of gaming's past glories - the 8 bit era! Time to check out a miniature version of the Nintendo Entertainment System known as the NES Classic Edition! Featuring Mario, Metroid, Castlevania, Zelda, Double Dragon, Final Fantasy and many other favorites, this mini console is packed with a bunch of classic gaming nostalgia! I was unable to find one of these back in 2016, but a couple years of patience was all it took to finally get my hands on one. Time to take it out of the box! I have a bunch of these retro systems, including the SNES Classic Edition, the Sony PlayStation Classic, and the Sega Genesis Mini. I might one day film videos for a couple of these little consoles, but there is a part of me that doesn't want to take them out of their boxes. (Well, except the Super Nintendo Classic - I opened that one right away!)
