Join me for an unboxing of this pocket sized portable! My Dachshund was eager to see what the heck I was unboxing in this video, so don't mind an appearance or two from the puppy! Anyway, my wife purchased this handheld system for me after we realized she had pretty much taken over my original Nintendo Switch. For my style of gaming, this wasn't a bad trade! The Switch Lite may not be as versatile as the original Switch or the new Switch Oled, but it has a tighter, more uniform construction and to me it feels better in the hand than the original Switch when playing in portable mode. Aside from not being able to hook this Switch up to a TV, there are some other compromises covered in the video. But so long as you know what you are getting, this is a very compelling little console, and arguably the best handheld gaming option available in late 2021. I also compare the size and some specs between the Switch Lite and the original Switch. There are a number of colors available, but I'm a big fan of the turquoise color on display in this video.
