Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen | Unboxing the Best Budget Audio Interface?

#focusrite #audio #recording Hey folks! I'm unboxing a striking audio interface from a trustworthy brand - It's the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen! I was a loyal user of the first generation Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 for many years. It had a great look, mostly solid build quality, and sound quality I was very happy with. So when Focusrite announced the third gen, I was eager to check it out. Luckily, I received one as a Christmas gift a few years back, but I'm only now uploading the unboxing. Hey, better late than never, right? Anyway, this is a two-in, two-out audio interface with metal and plastic construction in a beautiful red finish. A new feature this time around is Air, which should brighten the sound a little when the Air buttons are engaged. I have one complaint about this interface, and in fact, it was also a complaint I had with the first gen Scarlett 2i2. The headphone jack seems very temperamental. It might just be wear and tear from use, but I usually have to wiggle my headphone input in order to get stereo audio, otherwise I usually just hear the left side. Maybe I'm too rough when I connect the headphones? I have used this interface mostly for voice overs so far, and just a tiny bit with my music keyboard. I'm really enjoying it and am looking forward to what Focusrite cooks up with the inevitable fourth gen!
