Medical Laboratories all over the world are facing different challenges. This presentation gives insight into the German healthcare system and its impact on medical laboratories. The situation will be compared to other European countries. Additional challenges for many medical laboratories, especially in hospitals worldwide, will be mentioned, along with proposed solutions.
