This video explains and explores intermediate and advanced concepts of the Look at That (LAT) Game for dogs. Some dogs feel a bit uncomfortable or super excited in the presence of certain things in the environment (other dogs, people, bicycles, motorbikes, etc.) and this can trigger certain reactivity behaviours (barking, lunging, growling). The Look at That (LAT) Game teaches the dog an alternative stress-free alternative. Credit to the wonderful work of Leslie McDevitt, who popularised this procedure in her book “Control Unleashed”. Keep reading for additional information that should be helpful to you and your dog. As always, getting help from a reputable behaviour consultant is highly recommended for any behaviour modification program.
